Description
Nke exclusive! The CARBOWIND anemovane sensor is a measuring instrument for wind speed and direction. The long, rigid carbon pole allows the sensor to be positioned more than a metre above the head of the mast, beyond disturbed wind fields. The carbon blade provides great lightness and excellent resistance to vibrations. Thanks to a very low inertia and therefore an excellent responsiveness, this sensor is the ideal tool for the regatta competitor who wishes to obtain instant changes in wind direction. It is connected to the TOPLINE bus of your installation.
This sensor provides:
•true wind speed and angle in knots or metres/second if coupled to the speedometer log,
•air temperature in degree Celsius or Fahrenheit,
•VMG (Velocity Made Good) calculation
